Who We Are
Sophie Small, Founder
Sophie Small is a classically trained chef from Le Cordon Bleu whose work sits at the intersection of drinks, sensory design, and contemporary culture. Following time in Copenhagen at Restaurant Geist and Restaurant Sánchez, she developed an approach shaped by seasonality, ingredient provenance, and research-led flavour development.
In 2023, whilst living in Istanbul, she founded forum for formulation, a concept-led studio working across brand activations, creative collaborations, and drinks direction for clients spanning fashion, hospitality, and luxury brands. Prior to culinary work, Sophie spent six years in the luxury fashion industry working across creative development, campaigns, and editorial direction, both independently and in-house at LN-CC.
